Chemicals
Protect your jewellery from coming into contact with harsh cleaning chemicals or spraying directly with alcohol based products. Perfume, hair spray, nail polish remover, sanitisers, chlorine, some make up, lotions and body sprays etc.. are actually all solvents and may damage or soften the resin surface. It is safest to remove or cover your jewellery if in doubt until everything is dry.

Sunlight & heat
Extreme heat may cause the resin surface to soften and distort. Everyday wear in daylight is fine but don’t leave it in a hot car for example and remove when sunbathing. Prolonged direct sunlight may cause some colours to eventually fade. If it does get very hot by accident don’t touch the surface until it has cooled.

Water
Resin is water resistant and showering, hand washing is fine but do remove your jewellery before, swimming, etc…

Cleaning
A damp, soft cloth is all the resin surface usually needs to remove fingerprints etc.. If you use a silver polish please do not rub this on the resin surface or submerge the jewellery in a silver solution. You can use a plastic polish but do not use any abrasives on the resin surface
